The Readypower Panthers star suffered broken and cracked ribs, a bruised lung and was briefly knocked unconscious in a horror crash on the opening lap of the new season.
Roynon came to grief in the first race of a 48-45 success against a Great Britain Select side at the East of England Showground last Sunday (March 15).
He spent two nights in Peterborough City Hospital before being allowed to return to his Coventry base on Tuesday.
