PETERBOROUGH have told short-term signing Ashley Morris to stay on.
The British talent has impressed since being snapped up last month to fill the void left by injuries to Simon Lambert.
The 22 year-old has racked up 38 points in his eight meetings for the 'T Balfe Construction' Panthers to date, and will now continue in the team beyond his initial stay.
"We told Ash to take the opportunity to show everyone what he is about - and he has definitely done that," said Rathbone.
"He had a bad day on Sunday during the home defeat against Edinburgh with just one point, but he certainly wasn't alone in that.
"He proved during his previous performances that he is more than capable of scoring solidly at Premier League level.
"He is a battler, who never gives in, and that is a quality I really like in a rider."
Morris also races at National League level for Cradley.
