Another member of the famous Peterborough title-winning team of 2006 will return to the East of England Showground to celebrate the career of captain Ulrich Ostergaard.

Polish ace Piotr Swiderski, is the latest rider to accept an invitation to race in Ostergaard’s season-opening ’10 Year Spectacular’ next month.

Swiderski will be re-united with fellow Elite League title heroes Hans Andersen and Niels Kristian Iversen as part of a stellar line-up for the season-opening meeting on Sunday, March 13, which now has a confirmed start-time of 2pm.

The 32 year-old Pole also rode for Panthers in 2007 before going on to represent Ipswich, Lakeside and Leicester. He will ride for the Hammers this year.

Ostergaard has revealed exciting Danish racer Kenneth Hansen has agreed to ride in his testimonial.

Fellow Danes Mads Korneliussen and Kenneth Bjerre, Great Britain international Danny King and Polish crowd-pleaser Krzysztof Buczkowski are other confirmed riders.
