PETERBOROUGH chiefs have frozen the price of season tickets - for the second time this winter.

They initially went on sale last month at 2015 rates of £300 for adults and £200 for concessions before being due to rise in price this week.

But promoter Ged Rathbone has opted against increasing the cost after being blown away by the volume of sales so far.

He said: "We have already exceeded the final tally of sales last winter and that is a terrific boost.

"We have seen many existing season-ticket holders choosing to renew as well as receiving plenty of new applications.

"As a way of saying thank-you from the management team to supporters, we have decided to keep the same prices in place until the end of January.

"We appreciate this is an expensive time of year with Christmas fast approaching and we feel it is only right to give fans the chance to purchase season-tickets at the same prices in the new year."

Season-tickets will remain on sale until January 29.

The package includes car-parking and a programme. They are valid for all meetings except any finals the club may reach.
