NICHOLLS INTO BRITISH FINAL

Tuesday May 15, 2018
PETERBOROUGH No.1 Scott Nicholls is safely through to the British Final after safely negotiating Tuesday's semi at Leicester.

Nicholls ran a third place in his first ride but then reeled off three successive wins, before missing out to his Rye House team-mate Chris Harris in Heat 18.

That left Nicholls third on the night with Richard Lawson and Harris the top two on the rostrum with 13 points apiece.

Panthers skipper Simon Lambert endured a tough night which started with four last places - but at least ended on a high with a well-judged race win in Heat 19 when he got the better of James Sarjeant, Ben Morley and Matt Williamson.
