HARRIS MISSES OUT

PETERBOROUGH number one Chris Harris came up just short in his World Championship semi-final qualifier today (Thursday).

The 'T Balfe Construction' Panthers ace missed out on the top-seven finish required at Olching, in Germany, to advance to the SGP Challenge.

Harris amassed seven points from his five rides in a meeting in which former Peterborough stars Kenneth Bjerre and Hans Andersen also suffered disappointment.

Harris will be back in action tomorrow (Friday) when leading Panthers into SGB Championship KO Cup quarter-final action against Scunthorpe at the East of England Arena (7.30pm).
