PETERBOROUGH chiefs have turned to a familiar face to lead the club into three SGB Championship meetings in as many days.

The 'T Balfe Construction' Panthers have drafted in Lasse Bjerre as a guest number one for home and away clashes against Berwick and a trip to Newcastle.

Peterborough are without Jack Holder for all three fixtures as he launches his challenge for World Under 21 Championship honours.

"We know we can always call on Lasse to help us out," said promoter Ged Rathbone.

"He's a top performer at Peterborough and loves to race on our track.

"He can also be relied upon to score well on the road and we know we will get nothing less than maximum effort from him."

Peterborough entertain Berwick at the East of England Arena on Friday ahead of a return clash 24 hours later. They then call at Newcastle on Sunday as they make their way back south.

Peterborough are always without reserve ace Bradley Wilson-Dean on Friday due to an SGB Premiership fixture clash. They have brought in Workington man Mason Campton to guest.

Peterborough had also been set to be without Paul Starke on Friday and Saturday, but he is now available following his shock release by Somerset.
